Our charity has prioritised equality, inclusivity and diversity and looked to Danielle to help us secure the development and actions we needed to examine, plan and improve our practices from governance to service delivery. Danielle was exceptional throughout, going beyond expectations with a dedicated, professional approach and dedicated insight. Danielle’s knowledge and expertise in this area gave us confidence, whilst challenging our bias and this has truly influenced and improved the impact and outcome of this work

The Royal Conservatoire Scotland Glasgow recently commissioned an independent external review of our complaints process and the culture of one of our programmes, the Contemporary Performance Practice programme.

We sought out Danielle Chavrimootoo and Professor George Caird to undertake this important work. As part of their investigation the review team scrutinised relevant policies, held information-gathering sessions within the RCS and considered written submissions to a confidential email. The team made a number of observations and recommendations which we fully accept and will implement.

Danielle’s knowledge and expertise was key to the review report being accepted as a rigorous, dispassionate and considered review.

I would highly recommend her services.

Danielle Chavrimootoo completed some short-term training-related consultancy work for The Access Project. The work was excellent and we are in the process of commissioning Danielle to develop and deliver further training for us. Throughout her work with us, Danielle has engaged fully to understand our approach and needs, develop and tailor sessions and materials that are appropriate for the audience, and deliver enthusiastically and thoughtfully for our team. She has gone above and beyond in creating excellent materials that support participants not only to engage fully in the session but to guide their ongoing work, as well as to offer advice on relevant areas of practice. The training was exceptionally well received by our team and we are looking to commission her to develop and deliver further new sessions.

Danielle Chavrimootoo was an exceptional partner, working with staff and students in the History department to create and deliver an Inclusive Histories initiative. Her skills and expertise in addressing inclusion in education were pivotal to creating a cultural shift in the department, from thinking about decolonising the curriculum to offering guidance on classroom dynamics. She brings a wealth of research experience and engagement with educators and learners to create bespoke programmes for change. Danielle worked at every level with us: she delivered a workshop exploring White Privilege & Higher Education, conducted focus groups and surveys with staff and students, collated and presented data on the correlations between race, ethnicity and attainment, and organised workshops on creative approaches to teaching for inclusion. Her track record in delivering meaningful programmes for inclusion is outstanding.
